About the basics
- What is a Credit Access Business (CAB)?
- A CAB is a licensed Texas company that helps you get a short-term loan by connecting you with a lender and handling the process — the application, the paperwork, and the repayment — on your behalf. We're not the lender; we're the service that makes working with one simple.
- Are you a lender?
- No. We're licensed by the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner as a Credit Access Business (CAB) / Credit Services Organization (CSO). The actual loan is issued by a third-party lender; we arrange it and charge a separate fee for our service.
- Is this a payday loan?
- We help arrange short-term loans, including payday-style advances, designed to bridge you to your next paycheck — not to replace long-term financial planning.
- How much can I borrow?
- Typically between $50 and $350, depending on your income and what you need. We won't push you to borrow more than you actually need.
- Will you consider me even if I've been turned down elsewhere?
- We look at every application individually rather than issuing an automatic decline. We believe in giving everyone a fair go, and we do our best to find a way to help — including situations other providers won't. Approval isn't guaranteed and depends on your individual circumstances.
About cost & terms
- What will this cost me?
- You'll see two things before you sign: the lender's cost (interest/fees for the loan itself) and our CAB fee (for arranging and administering everything). Both are disclosed in writing, and we'll walk you through the total repayment amount before you agree to anything.
- Will you check my credit?
- No — we don't check your credit history as part of our decision. We look at your income and ability to repay instead. This doesn't guarantee approval; it means credit history isn't the gatekeeper.
- What happens if I can't pay on time?
- Call us before your due date — we'd rather work with you on a solution than have you fall behind. A missed payment fee may apply if a scheduled payment is missed or fails to process — see our Fees & Rates page for the exact amount.
- Can I pay it off early?
- Yes — you can request early payoff at any time by contacting us. There's currently no fee for paying off early.
About privacy & trust
- Will anyone know I did this?
- This is between you and us. We don't publicize your business, and we don't ask you to justify why you need help.
- Is my information safe?
- We take the security of your personal and financial information seriously. A full privacy policy is in progress — contact us if you have questions about how your information is handled in the meantime.
- Are you licensed?
- Yes — Quickle Money is a licensed Texas Credit Access Business, OCCC License #[XXXXX]. You can verify any CAB's license directly with the OCCC.
About the process
- How long does it take to get funded?
- Same-day deposit is available for an additional $14 fee if you're approved and sign before 5:00 PM Central on a business day. Otherwise, funds typically arrive by the next business day at 9:00 AM Central, at no extra cost.
- Do I need to visit a store?
- No — fully online service. Apply, get approved, sign, and manage your loan entirely online, from anywhere in Texas. We don't have physical locations.
- What if my situation changes after I've signed?
- Reach out through your member portal or email us at support@quickl.money — a real person can talk through payment date changes or questions. We're not a call center that disappears after funding.
