Privacy Policy
Effective date: [effective date] · Applies to [Quickle Money legal entity name], doing business as Quickle Money
This Privacy Policy explains what information Quickle Money collects when you visit this website or apply for a loan, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to Quickle Money and to www.quickl.money, including our online application and member portal. By using our site or submitting an application, you're agreeing to the practices described below.
Information we collect
When you apply for a loan or use the member portal, we collect information you give us directly — your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email, and Social Security number, along with a copy of your driver's licence or state ID and a recent bank statement or bank connection used to verify your income. We also collect information generated by your application itself, such as the loan amount you request, your loan purpose, and your repayment history if you become a customer.
Separately, our website automatically collects some technical information when you browse it — your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you navigate the site — typically through cookies and similar tools. This helps us keep the site working correctly and understand how it's used; it isn't combined with your loan application data unless you're signed in.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to evaluate your application, verify your identity, assess affordability, service your loan if approved, and communicate with you about your application or account. We also use it to meet our obligations as a Texas Credit Access Business — including recordkeeping required by the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC) — to detect and prevent fraud, and, only where you've opted in, to send you marketing communications.
How we share your information
Quickle Money operates as a Credit Access Business: we arrange loans made by an unaffiliated third-party lender, not us. To do that, we share the information needed to process your application with that lender. We also share information with service providers who help us run our business — bank-verification and identity-verification vendors, payment processors, and hosting providers — under agreements that limit them to using it only to provide those services. Beyond that, we only share your information: when required by law, subpoena, or regulatory request; to enforce our agreements or protect against fraud; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable technologies to keep you signed in, remember your application progress, and understand aggregate site usage. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect parts of the site, like staying logged into the member portal. We don't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Your choices
You can opt out of marketing calls and texts at any time by replying STOP to any marketing message, or by contacting us using the details below — this won't affect your ability to get a loan or receive servicing communications about an existing account, which aren't optional. You can review and request corrections to your personal information by signing into the member portal or contacting us directly.
How long we keep your information
We retain application, identity, and bank-verification records for as long as required under Texas OCCC recordkeeping rules and applicable law, and no longer than necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. If your account closes, we retain a copy of your records for our archival, audit, and fraud-prevention obligations.
Your Texas privacy rights
Depending on the nature and scale of our data processing, Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act to know what personal data we hold about them, correct it, or request deletion, subject to exceptions — including our need to retain records required by Texas consumer-lending law. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we'll respond consistent with applicable law. If we ever experience a breach involving your sensitive personal information, we'll notify you as required under the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected information from a minor, we'll delete it promptly.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to third-party websites we don't control. This Policy doesn't apply to those sites, and we're not responsible for their content or privacy practices — check their own policies before providing any information.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, though, so we can't guarantee absolute security — please avoid sending sensitive information, like your full Social Security number, over unencrypted channels like plain email.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with a new effective date, and where changes are significant, we'll take additional steps to let you know, such as an email notice.
